now we can tell everyone that it doesn't work on purpose for Halloween (we're too lazy to get D batteries. Who has D batteries?)

Our window:

we moved our Psycho shower curtain (yes, this is our shower curtain. thankfully we have 2 showers.) to our window, and it's always open. It looks SICK at night from the outside. It's pretty creepy, especially when we turn our strobe light on. Everyone on University Avenue just looove us. 

I'll get a picture of it at night sometime.
