OH, CHARTRES!

last thursday we went on a day-trip to chartres. chartres is the home to the oldest cathedral in france. we spent a couple hours walking around the town. we rode the ferris wheel, and guys now i know why kids have all the fun. these carnival rides are really getting to me. i love them. also it happened to have the perfect view of the whole town and the cathedral.

also, can we please talk about how the sky was killin' it this day. i mean that is real life.

after exploring the town for a bit, we went back to the cathedral and explored the grounds. holy hannah montana. like i know it's a cathedral, but can it be a castle and i be the queen here please??!?!

and then we finally went inside, and it's so beautiful. i'm addicted to stained glass windows and chartres did not disappoint. each of the stained glass windows told a story, and our guide focused mainly on the stories they told.

oh, chartres!
