EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES

HELLO EVERYONE

this week was kind of slow... we missed two whole days in our area which KILLED me. we had a zone conference all day and then a split with the sister training leaders. 

but the poopy thing is that none of our investigators are progressing even though we have lots now and are always trying to find more, and we saved 4 seats at church for people who would say they would come and none of them came!!! ugsheoifjoiwjeaoijsfei!

but on the other hand we had an amazing zone conference. i'm so grateful for president phillips and our leaders!!! we learned about how to better apply the book of mormon, find people to teach, and true conversion. i left that meeting with so many things that i need to work on, but so much hope because i know that Heavenly Father will help me and also help our area is we work as hard as we can!

there are some verses in 2 Peter (1: 4, 16-18) that were read during the conference and i exceeding love them, "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might bepartakers of the divine nature,... For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount."

I LOVE this passage, as Peter testifies that this word that we are preaching is not a fable or a story, but it is true. Jesus Christ truly is the living Son of the Living God. i know He came and died and was resurrected and is our Savior today. i am so overwhelmed at the love of our Savior. He pulls with us. He is rooting for us. i know this gospel i am trying to share with others is true. it's the truest thing and the most important thing in the world. it truly is our unfailingly source of hope that Heavenly Father loves us and our Savior Jesus Christ died for us that we one day may live again.
