women's conference

every day i walk to work bright and early in the morning. it's quite beautiful, even on the chilly days. the blinding morning sunshine and fresh, sleepy eyes. and i am walking, so we can even count my walk to work as my yearly exercise, so it's pretty great.

i walk through helaman halls, and the parking lots used to be deserted, but in the middle of this week, i discovered all these women. they were like herds of women. all wearing sunglasses and laughing loudly. i thought to myself, "what glorious thing has brought all of these women together to stay in freshmen dorms and bond together in the cafeteria?"

then i realized. women's conference.

so, dear mama,

maybe one day we can go to byu women's conference together? i mean, maybe i'm old enough to be considered a woman. after all, we will have to wait until next year, and i will be 21. surely 21 is old enough.

it was always my dream to have my family spend at least one night in my freshmen dorm (weird dream, i know) (i just always thought it would be really funny, 8 people crammed in that tiny thing), and we would get to spend 2 WHOLE NIGHTS together in a college dorm! yessssss! (it would be just like a sleepover)

i can imagine it now....we would be the ones sitting in the back, inappropriately laughing at something that really isn't that funny. pedicures and free tote bags forever!

but really. i'm not joking. let's go.
