a wedding day

just over a week ago one of my best friends got married. i've been so blessed to be able to have my cousin caitie as my best friend. this past summer we had the best summer. we were attached at the hip, even when school started. but then she met derek, her now husband and i didn't see her as much, and i was really, really sad. we would spend all weekend together and our family even joked that we were dating. i'm so happy that she found derek. even though it is kind of sad that we don't see each other as much, she is beyond happy and in love, it's just the greatest!

 these are all phone pictures, so not super good quality, but the photographer was totally fab. i asked her where she got her coat she told me she got it in thailand. okyouresocoolwhatever

i was also really grateful for this day because i got to be with most of my family. especially my cousin shelby who lives in new york. she's going to europe this summer, so we were basically talking about europe and dying over everything we are going to be able to do. 

caitie's reception had the best waffles and the prettiest cake.
